QuickBooks wanted TikTok content that felt native to the platform but didn’t have the time or budget for a full production. Most brands just repurpose content across all channels.
We knew TikTok had to be different. Our small team became the production crew. One actor. No props budget, so we made fake delivery packages and receipts. Our office and garage became the set. The concept: a day-in-the-life of a small business owner managing financials with QuickBooks using trending TikTok formats.
It outperformed TikTok’s benchmarks and our own standards. Became a Shorty Awards finalist. The limitation forced authenticity, and authenticity is what TikTok rewards.
